Trail Overview
The Foothills trail travels north-west from Sidewinder and Miner trails. It runs next to Black Mountain for 2.8 miles and then links up with the Mushroom Connector. This trail has a little of everything. It twists through short sagebrush, has several loose hill climbs, small rock ledges, a few sections of pure sand, and many embedded and loose basketball-sized rocks. Overall, the ground surface is packed dirt and rock.
