Fivemile Pass

I’m sure this was a 4/5 at some point and 90% of the trail is, but the westernmost portion of the road has some gnarly off camber jagged edge rocks you have to drive, then it dumps you into a gully that a full-size rig is not making it through without panel damage, then there’s a ton of off camber to get off the trail, I’d wager this is the hardest the trail will get with all the rain we’ve gotten. Overall a great time, but I gotta call 5/6 on this one.

Got off the trail just before a heavy thunderstorm.

For the most part this is a five but there were a few very uncomfortable off camber spots. Especially going counter clockwise. We came down off the high point and there is a t in the trail where the trail you are entering is very eroded. Took some technical maneuvering to make the turn. Definitely have to pick your line on some of the rocky sections. My Willy’s on 32s with a 2.5 inch lift only scraped my rear diff once. My buddy in his full size f150 on 33s took it all quite well. At the t he had to approach in reverse to make the turn. We both came out with some desert striping

Looked like there might have been a slight rock slide covering part of the trail.

You can only do the lower half of the loop rn. There is too much snow on the north faces. Ran what we could in a stock Tacoma.
