Fence Line - FS10568

This trail is a short out-and-back trail that splits off from Taylor Mountain and follows the fence in a straight line to the edge of the gorge. This trail is mostly smooth, with some small rocks and ruts scattered throughout; the hardest spot is just east of East Ashley Grasshopper, where the trail goes down a steep hill that is covered in loose rock. The viewpoint at the end of this trail provides plenty of parking as well as a spot where you can drive your vehicle out towards the cliff for a photo. This trail is open to all vehicles year-round and has no seasonal closure, but will be impassable due to deep snow during the winter and spring months.
