Trail Overview
This is a short firebreak road that starts at the base of Farmington Canyon and dead ends shortly after a creek crossing. There are signs at the trailhead warning about a gate ahead, but this doesn't mean the road is closed; it just means you can't drive to the road that is after the gate. This trail is open year-round but may be impassible due to snow or muddy conditions. Be sure to stay on the road, as some of the surrounding area is private property. There are only a couple of major obstacles on this trail, which are a rocky hill climb and a shallow creek crossing. Larger trucks may have difficulty turning around at the end of the trail. Be sure to watch out for pedestrians, as the road is a popular hiking path as well as the starting point for many others.
