Fairway Loop - FS 1215

This trail splits off from Blind Stream at the top of the pass and heads northwest across the flat to an overlook at the edge. This trail is easy, with only some small rocks and ruts in the trail scattered throughout, and the most difficult part is the climb out of the small canyon the trail follows towards the end, with it being steep with some larger rocks to navigate. This trail also starts narrow, with no place to pass at the beginning of the trail, so be prepared to back up all the way to the start of this section if there is another vehicle. Another thing to note is that this trail can be hard to follow in some places due to some of the dispersed camping sites that branch off of this trail, with the most notable turn being 1.3 miles into the trail where the trail makes a sharp U turn and although it may appear the trail continues straight, the trail actually continues down the sharp turn which will require the use of the pullout at that location. This trail is open to all vehicles and is closed seasonally from October 1st through June 1st.
