Trail Overview

Be prepared for a slow, bumpy, yet beautiful ride. The East end of this trail starts out near a boulder field and cuts through some dense pine trees. There is minimal vegetation when in the pines, however this changes to grasses and sagebrush in the lower elevations. Wildlife can be seen anywhere along this trail from squirrel and chipmunk to elk and mule deer. The rock does give way to a more dirt/gravel trail on the West end.

Difficulty

The rocky trail requires good driving skill when navigating to prevent bottoming out and damage to your vehicle.
