Trail Overview

This trail has amazing 360-degree views, but ultimately you'll climb to a point where you won't be able to pass unless you're on a dirt bike or maybe a true off-road built side-by-side. Decent amount of climbing, and no gnarly obstacles per se, but high clearance is needed. If you do the loop it will drop you down by the Payson City landfill. The views of both the Utah, Juab, and Goshen valleys are stunning. If you're on a smaller vehicle with good suspension then you can continue up the mountain and connect onto the West Crest trail.

Lowkey kinda sketch at points, large angles of tilt to the left and the right. Other than some light nervousness of tipping, awesome trail! The start point is terribly off base, and I started from some crazy point, but it worked out

Trail was open and great. Just some things to keep in mind is that this trail has some very steep parts with loose gravel which can make things get a little too exciting quick if not managing speed correctly and/or hard braking. Also the north part of the trail is in a shooting range area so be careful when going through there.

Lots of people shooting towards the trail bullets wizzing past us and the incline is too high, high rollover risk. Would more likely recommend to never go on it just for safety reasons

In an SUV, approaching from the ATV park side this trail has a 27°+ incline on some loose stone. I’m sure it was easier after passing that, but a larger 4x4 vehicle didn’t feel the safest.

The first photo we posted is where we entered the trail. It was difficult to find and the pin doesn’t take you to the right spot. Once we got there it was pretty awesome, lots of different paths to take, some easy others more difficult. I wouldn’t take anything with low clearance, it probably wouldn’t make it
