Chicken Creek

This trail branches off of Farmington Flats and heads South to where it ends with a small campsite and the trailhead for Gold Creek ATV Trail. This trail is tight as it is primarily used by ATVs and dirt bikes and has few places to pass other vehicles. The further along the trail you travel, the tighter it gets, along with it getting rockier with deeper ruts. The trail is also scenic, traveling through the forest following the creek with points where you can overlook the creek and down across Farmington Flats. This trail is open from May 31st to November 1st, but could be impassable later into the season due to deep snow that usually clears early to mid June.
