Trail Overview

This trail is a short connector trail that connects Yellowstone Loop to Ute 7 Road about halfway down Yellowstone Loop. This trail is well maintained, has no major obstacles, and stays two vehicles wide throughout the whole trail. This trail is scenic as it crosses through the flats, providing views in the distance of the high Uintas unobstructed by trees. This trail is open to all vehicles once it crosses into Ashley National Forest, but outside of the national forest on the Uintah & Ouray Reservation, ATVs, SxS, and Dirt Bikes are not allowed to be used. This trail also has no seasonal closure but may be impassable during the winter and early spring months.
