Trail Overview
Creek Description – General Sam’s Offroad
This creek trail offers riders a true off-road adventure with natural water crossings and scenic stretches along the banks. Traffic flows in both directions, so please ride and drive with courtesy. Be alert when approaching turns or blind spots and always yield space for oncoming vehicles when necessary.
The creek is suitable for ATVs, SxS, and trucks, but does get skinny in sections with limbs overhanging; conditions can vary with recent weather, though. Expect shallow to moderate water depths, sandy or rocky bottoms, and occasional mud sections.
Note: This is not a one-way trail. Use caution, keep speeds reasonable, and enjoy the ride while respecting fellow off-roaders.
Difficulty
This creek has a 14-foot elevation difference within 3/4 of a mile; some spots have been previously dammed up, making deeper water holes. Most of the creek has a sandy bottom, but there are some mud spots as well as a small rock waterfall.
