Savannah Oak Cave

This trail is a short, scenic descent that drops roughly 15° down to a quiet creekside clearing. The trail surface is primarily dirt, with light ruts that can deepen and become slick with mud after rain. At the base, drivers are rewarded with a unique natural feature — a small cave tucked into the hillside, partially concealed by vines and surrounded by mature trees. The area stays relatively cool and shaded, especially in spring and summer, and offers a peaceful break spot or photo opportunity. Best suited for careful navigation when wet, this trail is a hidden gem with a mix of natural beauty and light technical elements. Perfect as a side spur or exploratory stop along a larger loop.
