Trail Overview

Outlaw Gulch begins in a creek bed, where you’ll immediately face a steep ascent into a V-notch. The entry is tough, with loose dirt over rock, so wheel speed will be necessary to get started. Be mindful that vehicles with long departure angles may scrape their rear ends on the creek bottom, so a careful approach is needed. As you progress up the trail, you’ll encounter two rock ledges riddled with smaller loose rocks. This section demands precise tire placement and good spotting to help ease the climb. The loose rocks can make traction tricky, but with the right approach and careful maneuvering, you’ll be able to navigate this tough section. This trail requires technical driving and spotting to manage the rocks and loose dirt effectively, making it a fun but challenging section for skilled drivers looking for an adventure. DOMO Dove Nest Motorsports Club is a private park. Fees are required to ride trails. See the website at https://www.domoclubctx.com/ or call the DOMO office for day passes and off-road passes. Off-road trails are closed on track days for safety reasons. Please check with the website event page https://www.domoclubctx.com/domo-reveal or call the office for the current schedule.

Difficulty

When wet climbing can be difficult and slippery, as you have to cross a creek to enter. Long wheelbases will have some struggles here with entering the trail and making the turn up the rock ledges. Loose rocks can become dislodged easily, so watch for rocks falling to the bottom of the trail. Ledges require some finesse to get up them. This trail can be run either way and downhill is much easier but very steep and can be very slick at the bottom.
