Trail Overview

Buckhorn Trail offers a scenic ride along the hilltop rim, providing phenomenal views of the park's landscape throughout the journey. The trail features a couple of very small rock ledges, but these obstacles are easily tackled with most vehicle types, making this stretch inviting and fun for a wide range of drivers. Buckhorn Trail conveniently connects Skully Canyon and Pipeline Trails, serving as an easy route between them; however, reaching Buckhorn requires traversing three very difficult trails first, so be prepared for a challenging approach before enjoying this beautiful and accessible route.
