Trail Overview

Los Alamos Road is a narrow two-track, loop-type drive through the far East section of the park. The road traverses past one of the Park's Official residence locations. Los Alamos is a 4WD High Clearance non-maintained road with everything the park has to offer in regards to technical driving. Stacking rocks in washes, dry creek bed driving, off-camber situations, rock gardens, and pinstriping the whole way.

Difficulty

Street Legal, 4WD, High Clearance vehicles only. This road offers off-camber sections, small rock gardens, loose rock climbs, dry creek bed sections with silt and sand, minimal places to allow for oncoming traffic, erosion washes that require rock stacking, and plenty of pinstriping from the local brush.

creek washout made the trail interesting. there is a lot of brush creep over the road. I'd rate it a 4/10
