Trail Overview
Grave Gap Trail is a mostly maintained gravel road within the Royal Blue Riding Area, offering an easy two-way route with plenty of room for vehicles to pass without difficulty. While most of the trail is gravel, a few sections shift to a mix of dirt and gravel, adding a little variety without making the route challenging. In addition to being a useful connector, Grave Gap Trail has several spots where riders can stop and unload ATVs or set up camp for the night. There are also a couple of places along the trail where you can pull off and take in views of the valleys below, making it a pleasant route even though it is not especially technical. A permit is required to ride within the Royal Blue Riding Area. Be sure to check current regulations and obtain the proper permit before entering the trail system.
