Trail Overview

Victoria 10 is a longer single track, 4.4 miles, through the Black Hills, that is of easy difficulty although it has some easy rock features. It's a long windy trail that would be great for beginners learning to ride rocky single track. This trail is unique compared to some of the surrounding trails as it gets into more deciduous trees making a canopy over the trail like a tunnel that is fun to ride under. It continues to wind through an open forest with sparse pine trees. It has small climbs as it winds up the mountainside, then goes back down, and does that again. Watch out for some sharper hairpin turns as it heads down the mountain, and embedded rocks in the trail. There are a couple of spots that are steeper. This would be a good challenge for beginner riders, as it has some rockier surfaces in spots and bigger embedded chunky rocks, but would be easy for most average riders.

Steep with baby heads in both directions, turn around early if the terrain becomes moderately difficult for your skill level. 4 downed trees currently cover this trail, all of which were above axle height and required advanced maneuvering/wheelies. Tons of shade, lots of beauty & almost no one there.
