Trail Overview

This trail is fun during all seasons of the year but is best enjoyed during the spring through fall months. During the winter months this rocky, and narrow trail can quickly become challenging to those who are unprepared. Expect tight corners and a narrow single-track trail with a heavily wooded area on either side.

Most of the trail is easy but there is a section on the 6501 segment that has large rocks, a step up, and can be tricky to navigate in tight corners. 18” obstacles. High clearance, skid plates, 35” tires advised.

Trail was very wet and muddy. Driving Gladiator no lift on 35’s. A lot of sliding. The entry for the trail on the east end is very narrow and very muddy. Rocks up to 12+ inches are common. Steep in spots with narrow trail. A lot of standing water. Mud made the trail much more difficult.

Came in from north. Deep ruts and tight roads but fun and manageable by an f150. Near the south end, I turned around and took teepee as it got too tight with a few large boulders. Couldn’t make it between the big boulders and the trees without risking my under carriage. Took the old closed road to the top, turned around as it’s private up there, and came back down to finish the trail down the gulch to teepee. Fun.

Trail was mostly easy. There are a couple technical parts that are challenging for a stock vehicle but still doable. overall an enjoyable trail.

Most of the train is extremely easy. There are 2 parts that may pose a challenge for anything not super lifted, but very doable and FUN. Recommend all terrain tires, there are sharp rocks in a few spots. Overall a very beautiful trail.
