Trail Overview

This route is a more scenic route to go between the towns of Mystic/Rochford than traveling on Mystic Road and Rochford Road. The route is not a maintained road like Mystic/Rochford Road. Part of the trail has more open areas and part of the trail runs along the bottom of a ridge.

Difficulty

While most of the trail is fairly easy to drive on, there are some spots where there are mud holes and washouts. It is primarily single-vehicle-width but has room to pass oncoming vehicles.

Trail is a lot rougher than expected. I’m not sure who rates these greens and blues but most of the green trails were rougher than the blues. Like a previous commenter stated, there were several off camber portions of the trail and we got 19 degrees off camber on the big part. This is not an easy in and out.

Parts of the trail get very narrow and rocky. One part my truck read at 20 degrees of roll angle with a 6-8inch rock to crawl over. Few overhead trees above the trail but my stock ride high Colorado had roughly a foot of clearance.
