Calamity Canyon

Took a buddy through with a silverado 1500 zr2. Would NOT recommend a full size truck in any capacity. Took 7 hours to guide him through. Personally drove the midsize gmc canyon AT4 on 2 inch lift and 34’s which is capable of doing the trail but at the limits and will need spotting. The Silverado is simply too large even with triple lockers, which do help, in some situations. Would absolutely advise doing the trail in the intended direction. Doing the trail in reverse will lead to a false sense of security and you will be too far into it to go backwards. The beginning of the trail is a great skill filter. If you take a midsize teuck you will need rock sliders and expect skid plate damage and wheel damage, although if careful enough you can escape without it.

SE Calamity and linked midway to Camp 5. 20-30 water holes/puddles, nothing major for depth. pre scout your path, this trail can bite!

Went with group. gladiator sport 3 inch lift 35 inch tires, no did not use bypasses. I would suggest spotting in a few points but not 100% necessary if you have experience.
