Trail Overview

This is a scenic trail with some beautiful views. It's a great trail to see the fall colors. The only real challenge to the trail comes when meeting oncoming traffic, as parts are on a shelf road, and most of the trail is a two track.

Trail is a bit Rocky at the beginning of the north side but 33" tires would do just fine. We did turn around before the peak of the trail. I am not a person for hights so I got a bit nerve-racked seeing the trail further ahead. If you are fine with heights you will like this trail. Unfortunately my nerves & anxiety got the best of me.

Trail ran good, due to the tree cover over parts of the trail some spots were much wetter than others. Overall the trail is in good shape with not too much rutting. 4x4 and 33s certainly help on sections of the trail.

Damp trail some spots towards the interstate end was slick and some standing water, this trail was rated a 2 but there's a few spots are tougher than a 2
