Persimmon Road - FS 741

Persimmon Road - FS 741 winds south through the forest toward Spider Valley Creek, tying in near Forest Route 768 at the bottom. This 1/10 trail is graded gravel and clay throughout and stays easy the whole way. The upper half runs through recently logged country, and with the canopy off you'll get some of the best long views around, out across the ridges to the mountains on the horizon. The road also passes through private land, so keep your speed down and watch for kids and pets as you come in.
