Trail Overview

This route through the Sumter National Forest is approximately 14 miles of easy driving and beautiful scenery. Starting from Indian Circle Road, this route will take you under Interstate 26 and continue traversing through the National Forest; ending at Old Newberry Highway This route provides a nice scenic drive with limited to no obstacles and is well maintained throughout.

Well-maintained road with no obstacles observed. Gravel road throughout the majority of the route with some dirt portions. Muddy conditions could occur with rain however would not limit the ability to drive with most vehicles.

Heavily Barricaded with Natural Material

The Bonds Road side of the Trail STILL has barriers up about 1.5miles in. Idk why people are saying the entire trail is open. It is not. The rest of the trail area is open though, but you cannot drive the entire thing from i26 going towards winnsboro.

The road was well groomed and smooth. I took a chance on it due to previous post saying it was closed. I live not far from there so I made the trip this morning and it was open all the way through

There are two sections on the trail with high water levels but was passable. The rest of the trail is mild with what appeared to be recently tended to gravel sections.

A few miles in from either direction there are road closed gates in place. I was able to tightly maneuver around them in the yj anything bigger probably won't make it by. A best as I could tell it's due to a damaged bridge I went over just fine however I did notice some damage to 1 of the 2 bridges.
