Zimmerman Road

Zimmerman Road is a short road within the Bald Eagle State Forest. This was a fun trail as it was slightly more technical with mud and a bit rutted out, and a few small mudholes. Zimmerman Road comes off of Fourth Gap Road. The trail is centered around pines and Big Timber, with plenty of wildlife. The trail is a one vehicle wide trail and is an out-and-back trail, with a dead end finishing the trail. There is no turnaround on this trail The trail is more difficult during the winter months due to snow and ice, and there is no winter maintenance.
