Trail Overview

Yost Ridge Road is primarily a graded gravel road. It is a dead-end road with a large circle loop at the end for a turnaround. It is an easy ride in the summer months; however, there is no winter maintenance. The road will become rutted and harder to travel on during rain, snow, and ice. The Yost Ridge Overlook is at the north end of this road, with scenic views on both sides. Yost Ridge Road is within Sproul State Forest.

Difficulty

Yost Ridge Road is an easy ride in the summer months, however there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice the road will become harder to travel on. It is always slightly rutted but will become worse in the spring thaw and rainy seasons.
