Trail Overview

Fields Ridge Road is primarily a graded gravel road. It is a dead-end road with a looped turn around at the end. It is an easy ride in the summer months, however there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice the road can become rutted and harder to travel on. Fields Ridge overlook is at the end of this road with scenic view of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River valley. Fields Ridge Road is within Sproul State Forest.

Difficulty

Fields Ridge Road is an easy ride in the summer months, however, there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice, the road will become harder to travel on. It is always slightly rutted but will become worse in the spring thaw and rainy seasons.
