Trail Overview
Trail 6F- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 6F is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some skill. At almost 2/10th of a mile in length, this trail is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt and rocks, traveling up and downgrade. It serves as a bypass or shortcut trail between two sections of the Outer Loop and connects to Trail 6G. This trail travels alongside the Coal Slurry Pond. You may encounter some washouts and rutting along with some minimal standing water. This trail travels all on a grade with loose rocks on the trail. It is a narrow trail, one vehicle wide, with areas to pass. This trail offers several areas with views of the surrounding valley, some running water, and wildflowers. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels mostly through the woods. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Difficulty
This is a dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
