Trail Overview

The Red Ridge Trail runs East to West through Bald Eagle State Forest in Pennsylvania. The trail begins down low in the Treaster Valley and heads Northeast until the Bear Gap Picnic Area. After the picnic area, the Red Ridge Trail bears right and goes up and over Buck Mountain. There are a couple of hiking trailheads and a beautiful vista along the drive. This trail doesn't offer any motorized campsites. Cell service is spotty so be sure to download offline maps.
