Trail Overview
Raptor Path - The OG - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Raptor Path – The OG is a long-standing trail of Rock Run Recreation, although it was heavily impacted as part of the windmill project in 2025, and many sections were replaced with the new Raptor Path Trail Road, with a separate section of Raptor Path Trail still in place on the opposite side of Mailbox Road. It should be able to be traversed by most any rider on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with little skill. At approximately a half mile in length, this trail is part of the larger network at Rock Run. Raptor Path – The OG is made up of mostly small, embedded rocks, and there are some areas of standing water. It is a narrow trail with ample places to pass and does cross over Turbine 16 Road. One end starts at Golden Arch Trail, and the other end at Play Pond Path and Pat’s Flats. It parallels Raptor Path Road for its entirety. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
