Trail Overview
OHV 50 - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 50 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed with a little skill and patience. One end starts at Holtz Hill Road, and the other end intersects with Rouges Harbor Road. OHV 50 serves as an entry or exit point for a number of OHV trails and specifically intersects with OHV 51 and OHV 63. At just over 2/10ths of a mile in length, this trail starts with some ruts and smaller embedded rocks, almost road-like, and then enters a rutted area with a few 18-inch rocks before turning into a dirt road again. You may encounter some standing water and light mud in areas. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety and is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in January 2026.
Difficulty
This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, washes, and minor mud holes. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
