OHV 3 - Rock Run Recreation Area

OHV 3 - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 3 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed by anyone with some patience and a little skill. OHV 3 is mostly a flat trail with a few spots of elevation change over its almost 4/10ths of a mile. OHV 3 starts at Radio Road and drops in elevation into a less-used and more grown-in section of the trail. This section is dirt with multiple small trees and brushy shrubs, with some tight turns to work around these obstacles. From this section, it changes into more of a dirt road. It travels through a wooded section before intersecting with trail OHV 4. The section nearest to OHV 4 is slightly off-camber and does have some loose and embedded rocks 18 inches or less in diameter. You will encounter some tighter trees and a few sharp turns in a few locations, presenting more challenge for larger vehicles, but they should not present any issues to users with a little care. A user can choose to skip this section by utilizing trail OHV 2. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety. This trail is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
