Trail Overview
OHV 23- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 23 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and isn’t so much a trail as just tons of rocks to traverse. It will take both skill and patience, along with the proper setup. Please walk this trail prior to starting to understand the area. Both ends start off the Coyote Pass Trail. This trail is just over 2/10ths of a mile in and back off Coyote Pass. There are two adjoining trails off the one leg of the trail to enter or exit, but otherwise, you are committed once you begin. This is a tight trail in numerous places due to either rocks or trees. The rocks are all naturally placed, with the majority being embedded in the ground. Some are stacked together. They consist of many different shapes, points, and valleys on and between the rock configurations. The largest obstacle you will encounter is between 4 and 5 feet, depending upon the line chosen as you crawl. You will need to have someone assist and spot for you in locations more than likely. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
