Trail Overview
Oak Street is the beginning of a new rock trail play area hidden deep in the valley between South and West properties of Rausch Creek. The trail is accessed off the new "Missing Link" trail that short-cuts down the mountain from the 21 red area / lunch spot to PowerLine/H trails. Heavily modified buggies can reach the trail from either South or West properties, whereas lesser modified 37-inch-plus and lockers or short wheelbase vehicles will find easier access only from West property. The trail starts with a sizable gatekeeper with some off-camber loose rocks. A few red and black play areas with rocky challenges, some with tight trees. Full-body rigs expect tree rubbing. Rear steer recommended but not required. This is the first trail of many that will be cut in this new area now made accessible by the Fingerlakes4x4 crew.
Difficulty
Off-camber situations may prove to be difficult for short-wheelbase or underbuilt vehicles. Traction in wet months may also limit access. In the wintertime, the trail may not be accessible without winching.
History
This trail was cut in June 2026 by Fingerlakes 4x4 and Gate Keeper Offroad Crews running heavily modified rear-steer buggies.
