Trail Overview

This is a downhill-only shortcut trail that connects the far ends of Rausch Creek South and West properties. The trail starts around the Lunch Spot / 21 Blue / 21 Red area and runs down the mountain towards Power Line trail/18A Blue. The second half of the trail can be run in both directions, so the Oak Street play area can also be accessed from either direction. This new shortcut links the two properties and cuts down on long travel time after checking out the Quarry and Lake Christy trail area.

Difficulty

Very steep downhill, with some sections that may be unsafe for short-wheelbase vehicles. Good working brakes are a must. There is no option to back out of the trail; it is downhill only to the bottom, with no bypass or bailouts.

History

This trail was cut by Fingerlakes4x4 in the fall of 2025.
