Trail Overview
Loop Connect Trail- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Loop Connect Trail is an original trail to the park, though it was renamed after McKinley Drive cut the former Trail 5E. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS, and is just under 1/10th of a mile in length. It serves as a connector trail from the Western Inner and Outer Loop trails near the play pond below the Visitors Center. Loop Connect has some minor elevation change and has both embedded and loose rocks. There is one intersection with a short trail to the Play Pond. It is one machine wide. This trail is open to motorcycles, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in July 2025.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
