Trail Overview
Trail 4A - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 4A is an original trail to the facility, though it was modified as part of the windmill project in 2025. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Trail 4A is a few hundred feet in length and is part of the larger network at the park. Trail 4A serves as a connector trail between the Inner Loop West and Outer Loop West, and also intersects with CW Road. Near Clayworks Campground, this serves as a quick connection to these trails from the campground. This trail has both embedded and loose rocks, tree roots, and potential rutting in locations. Trail 4A is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxS’s. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in January 2026.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
