Trail Overview

This trail is an in-and-out graded Gravel Road within Bald Eagle State Forest. There are a few areas to camp and picnic. Two Hiking trails off this trail are Boney Hollow Trail and Penns Creek Valley Trail. There is a drivable trail called Longwell draft Road that is interesting, with more dirt and the second half more rocky, and it would be wise to air down on this portion of the optional trail. Hoofnagle Road is easily drivable during summer, Fall, and Spring, but more difficult in the winter months due to snow and Ice.
