Trail Overview

Canada Run Road is named after the rushing mountain creek that flows through this hollow. The road is lined with evergreen and hardwood trees, and in many places is a 1 vehicle wide shelf road. Towards the end of the route, there is a single campsite and a culvert where Horse Run joins Canada Run. The forest boundary is a few hundred yards beyond this point. It is recommended to turn around near the campsite, as there is no safe turnaround at the boundary.

Many parts of this road are a shelf road, only 1 vehicle wide. There are a number of opportunities to pass, and given the topography, there is a high chance of mud and small washes.
