Trail Overview

Big Valley Road is a long, winding, and rocky Forest Road through State Game Lands. Trail will not be plowed in winter. Downed trees can be encountered and the trail has a few muddy sections. There are a few tight sections where backing up would be required. Game Land Parking Lot near center of trail has large pull off area.

There's lots of downed trees and evidence of runoff having washed things out. Most areas are in pretty good shape while others are not. Expect the trail to be narrow in some areas. Runoff has eroded some parts and exposed some slightly more difficult terrian.

from the heavy rain there's a section of the trail about half way that's impossible to cross unless you have something EXTREMELY capable and at that point it's the wrong trail for you
