Trail Overview
Starting from the north side at the intersection with FS 21, Wilson Creek Road is a 10.6-mile point-to-point gravel road. The trail is well-maintained for its entire length and provides access to a staging area for the Murrow-Grant OHV Park, located 1.2 miles from the start, as well as to park routes for the first 4.9 miles. Keep an eye out for OHVs crossing the road. Beyond this point, the trail winds through prairies before descending into a canyon where the road narrows and follows Wilson Creek, terminating at its intersection with FS 23. Wilson Creek is accessible year-round, and all OHVs (non-street legal) require an Oregon Parks ATV permit.
Difficulty
A well-maintained trail for its length, the only challenges riders may face are occasional large rocks that fall into the roadway in the canyon. Weather conditions such as rain and snow may greatly affect the difficulty. A chainsaw or other equipment for moving fallen trees is highly recommended.
