As it gently follows the lake's shoreline, the road provides a beautifully varied environment, transitioning seamlessly between heavy, shaded forest and wide-open clearings that reveal gorgeous glimpses of the water and the surrounding mountain landscape. Traveling over a few small, seasonal creeks, the route ultimately connects with Fisher Point Road 1164, making it a highly convenient and deeply scenic backcountry connector.
