Sisters Connector

The Sisters Connector is an easy, scenic 6.6-mile off-road link connecting remote Forest Service roads directly to Sisters, Oregon. The route transitions from dirt two-track through ponderosa pine to well-graded gravel roads. Beginning northwest near Glaze Meadow along Forest Service Road 2059000, it skirts Zimmerman Butte at approximately 3,200 feet before heading south into town. It is suitable for standard high-clearance vehicles, UTVs, and dual-sport motorcycles. As the southern terminus leads directly into residential neighborhoods, drivers should maintain low speeds and avoid airing up or down near homes. The route is unmaintained in winter and may be blocked by snow until late spring.
