Trail Overview

Let me start off by saying if you enjoy beautiful views, hikes, and waterfalls, GO check out this road! One thing I want to point out that is a must-see is the amazing waterfall on this drive. Not only does the cool mist coming off of it feel wonderful, but the sound, and the view alongside it, plus the cute little frogs you find hopping on the rocks, make it the main attraction to see! Now for views this road is packed full, from rolling valleys, thick forests, and flowers lining the road, you will be amazed at the beauty. If that's not enough for you, go check out the hikes like Blue Lake Trail # 3645 or Corrigan Lake Trail #3654. Be mindful of downed trees, some of them are very old and large, and after a big storm, you may mind them on the road. There are a couple of decent camp spots, one of which has an amazing view right near the hiking trails. There is little to no cellphone service in this area. If you need reception, the Dairy Queen near Chevron offers wifi, a stop for breakfast, or a full menu all day. Remember to always pack it in and pack it out, tread lightly, and keep our trails open!
