Trail Overview

The Hells Canyon overlook has both a paved and un paved approach. Both are very scenic, but we highly recommend the dirt route as it offers a number of camp sites and incredible views. Signs displayed at both ends of the trail warn that the road is rough and not recommended for passenger vehicles.

Difficulty

It's a pretty well maintained road with a few narrow spots, bumps, and a handful of slightly rocky sections - but not enough to warrant a more difficult rating.

Lots of flowers in bloom. Roads clear. A bit dusty due to dry conditions. Beautiful clear views. No one but us on the trail.
