Trail Overview
This well-maintained road leads to Jim Creek Group Campground, then continues toward Jim Creek Staging Area. From there, the route continues with a sign indicating that you are entering a privately managed area. Stay to the right and follow the road carefully until reaching a small side route that leads down toward the river. This appears to be an OHV route and is presumably within the National Forest. Farther along, the public land boundary ends, and a clearly posted sign states that the area beyond is privately managed and that trespassers will be prosecuted. Respect the posted boundary and do not continue beyond the permitted area. The main route offers a beautiful little drive, while the side route toward the river may suit smaller OHV vehicles such as ATVs or SxSs. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
