This user-maintained sandy, silty track is short but offers an exciting, technical ride, with several sections where the road has been washed away, exposing rocky terrain. The route requires a high-clearance vehicle, and some areas are particularly challenging during the rainy season, when water damage and loose surfaces can make the trail more difficult. Four-wheel drive may be necessary in wet conditions, especially through the more technical sections. Although the trail is relatively short, the combination of rocks, washed-out areas, sand, and silt keeps you on your toes and requires a capable vehicle and careful driving. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
