FS 4604

FS 4604 begins at the back of the trailhead parking area and ends near the middle of the Big Burn Road. The trail is smooth for most of the trail besides a 25-yard stretch of a small rocky road in the middle that requires 4WD and potentially high clearance depending on weather conditions. This trail is usually open but closes for prescribed burns and poor weather. Although the trail is predominantly a connector to the Big Burn Road, it also has some beautiful tree scenery and dispersed camping pull-outs (depending on local restrictions). The road is always busy with cars and mountain bikes, so be vigilant.
