Trail Overview

This is a well-maintained, user-maintained trail that starts on a hill before descending into a small valley. The route passes through open forest and wide, open areas, with plenty of cattle in the area, so watch for animals along and near the road. The valley is also noticeably cooler than the higher sections of the trail. The road is generally easy to drive, but larger bumps can appear unexpectedly, so keep your speed under control. A few fallen trees along the route may need to be moved or cleared, so carrying a chainsaw is recommended if you want to be prepared. Overall, this is a pleasant and straightforward trail with open scenery, gentle elevation changes, and only a few minor obstacles to watch for. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
