Trail Overview
A beautiful trail through dense forest with a forest floor covered in pine needles and pine cones beneath towering pine trees. There are some rocky sections, particularly where the trail crosses ATV and SxS routes. Expect a few off-camber sections throughout the route.
Trees have been cleared from the trail, making it passable, but there are still several low-hanging branches extending into the roadway. Tall and wide vehicles should use caution, as pinstriping is likely. On the southern side of the trail, there are a few potential dispersed camping spots, although they are limited. There are also numerous narrow spur trails branching off the main route. A designated firewood cutting area is also located along the trail, with signage indicating the permitted cutting zone.
Difficulty
The main challenges are the narrow trail, rocky crossings, off-camber sections, and the potential for pinstriping from overhanging branches.
