Trail Overview
FS 2015 is an 8.3-mile point-to-point gravel road connecting FS 5316 with FS 2104. Starting from the east at the intersection with FS 2104, the trail descends into a canyon with steep sections in areas before crossing several creeks. It then climbs back up the opposite side of the canyon, transitioning into a straight, smooth gravel road until reaching the intersection with FS 5316. Just under a mile and a half from the intersection with FS 2104 is the Mallory Seed Orchard, a project to restore 250 acres of dead and dying trees from a 2020 blowdown event. FS 2015 is accessible year-round.

Difficulty
FS 2015 is a wide, smooth gravel road for its entire length, suitable for most 2WD and low-clearance vehicles. The only challenges are some steep sections on the east side of the trail and washboarding. Weather conditions, such as rain or snow, can affect the difficulty. A chainsaw or other equipment for clearing fallen trees is highly recommended.
