Trail Overview

This is the main logging route into the heart of the Clatsop State Forest. This is an easy, scenic drive with numerous spurs to explore. Deadfall could be an issue in the shoulder seasons. Like most Oregon state forests, there is active logging so having a CB on hand is helpful. At the time of this writing, they were using CH13.

No major obstacles other than the occasional pothole. Airing down for comfort is recommended.

Trail was open, enjoyable and good views. For anybody coming to this from Mullenbach lane, yes it says no outlet but if you take the right fork at the "end" of the road then it will take you on this trail where if you follow it all the way thru to walker ridge then it pops you out the other end on hwy 103. So ignore the no outlet sign!
